Who plans meals—and where does the plan break?

These are audience hypotheses, not measured demographic shares. Research household structure, schedule, cooking confidence, food access, language, devices and the decision the person wants to make before targeting a segment.

Five real meal-planner screenshot sets, read as arguments.

All 20 panels were opened at readable size. Visible choices, recommendations and unknown outcomes are kept separate.

Samsung Food: Celebrity recipes lead into a visible weekly plan

Original artwork from the Samsung Food US App Store listing, captured 26 October 2026. Select a panel to enlarge it.

What the screenshots show: The first four frames show a recipe personality, the weekly planner, a rating-led proof point and recommendation imagery.

What I would test: Move the weekly plan into frame one for meal-planner queries and show the plan's grocery consequence before social proof. The result is unknown until tested.

Plan to Eat: The sequence explains a recipe-to-list system

Original artwork from the Plan to Eat US App Store listing, captured 26 October 2026. Select a panel to enlarge it.

What the screenshots show: The visible frames establish longevity, saving recipes, a personal library and an organized shopping list.

What I would test: Add the calendar placement between recipe library and list so the transformation is unmistakable. The result is unknown until tested.

Eat This Much: Automatic planning is qualified by constraints

Original artwork from the Eat This Much US App Store listing, captured 26 October 2026. Select a panel to enlarge it.

What the screenshots show: The sequence names automatic planning, eating-style settings, grocery and pantry support, then recipe nutrition and scaling.

What I would test: Show the swap-and-recalculate step so automatic does not imply a locked plan. The result is unknown until tested.

eMeals: Planning and shopping are sold as one job

Original artwork from the eMeals US App Store listing, captured 26 October 2026. Select a panel to enlarge it.

What the screenshots show: The opening connects meals and groceries, followed by plan options, retail partners and generated shopping lists.

What I would test: Demonstrate what changes in the list after a meal swap instead of repeating partner breadth. The result is unknown until tested.

MealPrepPro: Meal prep moves from aspiration to plan, list and targets

Original artwork from the MealPrepPro US App Store listing, captured 26 October 2026. Select a panel to enlarge it.

What the screenshots show: The frames progress from an easy-health promise to a weekly plan, automated grocery list and calorie or macro settings.

What I would test: Lead with the actual week and batch-prep schedule for meal-prep intent; keep health language qualified. The result is unknown until tested.

MEAL PLANNER ASO

Two original meal-planning concepts—and the work before production.

These Weekwise concepts are AI-generated, fictional and untested. They are not competitor screenshots, safety assurances or claims about a live app.

Fictional Weekwise meal-planning concept

Change dinner. Not the whole week.

What the app promises: One meal swap creates visible grocery and prep updates.

What you can learn: The consequence can prove flexibility more clearly than a calendar alone.

What I would test: Change propagation versus a static weekly plan.

Human review: Replace invented meals, quantities, people and substitutions with real behavior; review ingredients, allergy language, rights, accessibility, policy and localization.

Fictional Weekwise meal-planning concept

One table. Four constraints.

What the app promises: Household preferences become reviewable substitutions and portions.

What you can learn: Fit should be shown as inspectable decisions, not a safety guarantee.

What I would test: Constraint review versus generic family-friendly copy.

Human review: Replace invented meals, quantities, people and substitutions with real behavior; review ingredients, allergy language, rights, accessibility, policy and localization.
