Your screenshots are a sales conversation.

Stop showing people everything your app does. Start with why they should care.

Lead with the decision, not the interface.

A screenshot is evidence for a promise. Before choosing the screen, decide what the visitor needs to believe. That might be that the app solves a familiar problem, that it is easy to start, or that it fits the person’s routine.

Give each frame a job.

An opening frame establishes the main value. Following frames can explain the mechanism, address an objection or show an important use case. Repeating the same claim in different words consumes space without moving the decision forward.

Make the words survive a small screen.

A headline that only works when enlarged is doing too little work in the store. Check the creative at realistic viewing sizes. Keep the message focused and the supporting interface legible enough to make the point.

Test a reason, not a decoration.

Changing a color can be a valid experiment, but changing the argument often reveals more about the audience. Compare a clear hypothesis, such as a benefit-led opening versus a workflow-led opening, where the store’s testing tools and your traffic support a useful evaluation.

Read results with context.

A creative change does not happen in a vacuum. Traffic sources, market mix, seasonality and product changes can influence the outcome. Record what changed and avoid turning a short-term movement into a universal rule.

Put the thinking to work.
